The first scene of our new grandiose crowd sourcing project is finally ready! This will be an animated series based on African mythology, in which the past and present, myths and reality intertwined in the most bizarre way. The working title of the project is Bakarijan Kone. This is the hero of the African epic - brave, good-natured, maybe a little rustic, but still very nice guy. In first scene he wakes up on a wonderful spring morning in a small African village on his birthday, and suddenly it turns out that it was on this very day that fate had destined him to go on a long journey, in search of adventure, wealth and glory! The main purpose of General-Animation studio has always been the search, inspiration and support of beginning talented animators.
So now we will continue to make cartoon using outsourcing. We will publish the script of the fragment, find the person to animate this fragment, discuss the price, and then the person makes the animation of this fragment and receives money for his work. Thanks to our sponsors, we managed to raise some budget in order to financially support and encourage our animators. Of course, this is not a big money, but this is a unique opportunity for everyone who wants to try himself as an animator. Animation should serve noble purposes, which is why today we give start to our animation challenge. In this challenge we will study animation and make cartoons to draw public attention to the problem of poverty and inequality on the black continent and to direct the forces of the world community to eradication of illiteracy in Africa.
We will call our competition “General-Animation African Challenge”, and we invite all animators - famous and not so very celebrated - to take part in it. Your task will be simple - you tell us about yourself and your work, introduce your character, and show a small cartoon with his participation. For our part, we promise active promotion of your work, and even try to provide little incentive prizes for the most active participants.
And we already have the first participant of our animation challenge! Our new student from Egypt - Ali Abdullah Haidan sent us these funny monkeys dancing among the alpine meadows. This is his first animated work, so do not judge too harshly. This is just the case when it is not the reward that matters, but participation. Our main task at the current stage is to draw public attention to the problems of the black continent. Make people think about how we can help African youth. Great job, Ali!

And we have instruments, which allow even the inhabitants of the poorest countries right now to join the achievements of modern computer technologies, to participate in the process of human development and at the same time to improve their personal well-being and the general welfare of the countries in which they live.
To achieve this goal, we have created a series of animated video lessons, in which funny cartoon characters in an easy and accessible form tell about how to make cartoons. Our video lessons and our cartoons have gained quite a lot of popularity, and now we use them for training our students, who later become our animators and make cartoons with us. I think you all noticed a nice little hamster that appeared recently in our cartoons. This cheerful character was created thanks to the efforts of the participant of our project Marina Kon. Today I place this hamster in “Downloads” section of our site so that you too can create cartoons with this character. After downloading the archive, you will find in it a PSD file with a hamster cut into parts, as well as several AE projects in which the hamster is already assembled into the model and used in animation. Notice the project “Hamster Animette.aep” In this project a model with pre-programmed animation is assembled. Open the composition "00 hamster Animette". The very first layer of this composition is called “Homa Control” and it has a “GO” slider. With this slider, a walking animation is turned ON an OFF. When GO is 0 the hamster is standing still. Set the GO value to 1 and the hamster will run happily along the track. Also included in the project is animation of speech.

We continue to make our cartoon. In this scene I used our footage for year 2017 the symbol of which was a rooster. In our video lessons we use animal models for each year. In such way in this scene met the symbols of two years at once - 2017 the year of the rooster, and 2018 - the Year of the Yellow Dog. It turned out very joyful and cheerful meeting. And so: Yellow Dog walked along the cartoon forest and came across the house of a merry chicken family. I'm happy to tell you that our funny video lessons on animation dedicated to the Year of the Rooster have turned into a whole new interesting animation project - we'll call it Chicken Adventure Time. In this project we will use all our footage with chickens to make an interesting cartoon about the adventures of the chicken family. In this cartoon there will be many funny little animals, a lot of interesting stories on the most pressing topics of our time, and of course there will be Trump and Putin and many other glamorous characters.

We continue to develop the theme “Five little chickens jumping on a bed”. I will try to demonstrate how you can use this lovely children's song to cover the most burning problems of our time. I hope that with your help we will be able to raise the art of political satire to new heights. And so, on our scene appear Mr. Putin and his “polite green men”. And in the next episode we will meet Mr. Trump. and will be able to create cartoons about serious international collisions.
